Discovery opens door to potential 'molecular fountain of youth'

January 31, 2013:

October 20, 2011:

Need a ride to the doctor’s office? A helping hand or a sympathetic ear? If you’re 50 or older, Ashby Village may have just the right person for you. October 20, 2011:

In Berkeley, the benefits of belonging can include a helping hand, a receptive ear, a shoulder to cry on and — for some — a new lease on life. Like its sister communities across the country, Ashby Village is a work in progress, though with a distinctly grassroots character.

But they’re better than their younger counterparts at seeing the positive side of a stressful situation and empathizing with the less fortunate, according to research from UC Berkeley.
