Excellence in Management nominations due April 12

April 10, 2013:

The Excellence in Management award,now in its 25th year, allows career employees to honor exemplary campus managers and supervisors. This year’s theme, “Agents of Positive Change,” recognizes outstanding efforts to help employees navigate changes in the workplace. Nominations are due Friday, April 12.

The Excellence in Management award, now in its 25th year, provides an opportunity for career employees to acknowledge the exemplary contributions of their managers and supervisors.

Oct. 9: Chancellor’s chat with staff

October 8, 2012:

Chancellor Birgeneau will address campus staff on Tuesday, Oct. 9. The annual event, sponsored by Berkeley Staff Assembly, will be held in the Maude Fife Room, 315 Wheeler, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Staff ID is required.

Excellence in Management nominations due Feb. 24

February 3, 2012:

Berkeley Staff Assembly is accepting nominations for its 2012 Excellence in Management Award, whose theme is “leading through change.” Employees’ may nominate managers and supervisors until 5 pm., Friday, Feb. 24.

Berkeley Staff Assembly seeks potential mentees through Sept. 30

July 20, 2011:

The Berkeley Staff Assembly (BSA) is soliciting mentee applications for is staff-mentorship program, which pairs staff seeking to develop themselves professionally with more experienced campus colleagues. The deadline for applications is Sept. 30.
