The effect was detected by Michael Detmar, professor at ETH Zurich, and Lu Chen, UC Berkeley assistant professor of vision science and optometry. Chen, a leading expert in corneal lymphatic research, showed that a compound found in statins significantly suppressed lymphatic vessel growth in the cornea, an ideal and widely used tissue for lymphatic examination.]]></description>
