Administrators propose creation of campus boards for UC
April 24, 2012:
Five UC administrators are proposing that the UC Board of Regents create campus-based governing boards, as a means of ensuring that the system’s campuses remain financially sustainable, accessible and academically excellent. The proposal is detailed in a new paper from the Center for Studies in Higher Education, authored by CSHE director C. Judson King, UC’s provost emeritus, along with Chancellor Robert Birgeneau, Provost George Breslauer and Vice Chancellors John Wilton and Frank Yeary, all of UC Berkeley.
