Chancellor’s fund focuses on education and economic development

The Chancellor’s Community Partnership Fund has awarded $260,000 to 15 projects that involve partnerships between UC Berkeley students and community groups. This year, the largest grants are for projects that focus on education and economic development.

Chancellor’s Community Partnership Fund streamlines application process
December 15, 2010:
The Chancellor’s Community Partnership Fund has revised its application process, to include a short pre-application form, due Feb. 9, 2011. For the 2011-2012 grant cycle, the fund will distribute approximately $225,000 for innovative campus-community partnerships in arts and culture, community safety, economic development, environmental stewardship, and education.
