A new course on the cultural impact of an iconic 14th-century Chinese tale, and the popular role-play game it spawned, called Sanguosha, has seized the attention of campus undergrads and Chinese media outlets alike. “Exploring the Three Kingdoms” will be offered in fall semester through the student-run DeCal program.

Leader of the Burmese democracy movement and 1991 Nobel Peace Prize winner Aung San Suu Kyi will speak to Berkeley for the first time in a live phone interview on Monday, March 7, as part of a DeCal course. RSVPs are required to connect with the tele-event.
