Students spend fifth summer on Gulf Coast recovery efforts
June 13, 2011:
This summer, 40 UC Berkeley students are on the Gulf Coast working on post-Hurricane Katrina recovery and social justice efforts. The excursion is part of the Magnolia Project, a 10-year collaboration with the Cal Corps Public Service Center. This year, students are working with members of the Lower 9th Ward Village in New Orleans.
Berkeley undergrad takes action to help Haiti
