UC Berkeley is one of the three most politically active college campuses in the nation, according to the “next-generation news and politics” website Policymic. From its “iconic protest of the Vietnam War in the 1960s” to today’s Occupy Cal movement, Berkeley is a place where “political fervor reaches far beyond the norm,” it says.
