Berkeley Law Dean Christopher Edley, Jr. has been named co-chair of the U.S. Department of Education’s Equity and Excellence Commission. He is one of 28 experts appointed by U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan. The commission will examine the impact of school finance on educational opportunity.
