Staff took a well-earned work break Wednesday for Summerfest, UC Berkeley’s annual staff-appreciation event. At the foot of the Campanile, hundreds enjoyed a sunny afternoon of socializing, music, food, fairground games and giveaways. Check out the photos.

Campus staff are invited to Summerfest 2011 — a.k.a. Staff Appreciation Day — taking place from noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 8. Head for the base of the Campanile (and environs) to find the fun.
