Study abroad in Cairo gives student eyewitness view of Arab Spring

Photo contest offers snapshot of students’ study-abroad adventures

This week is International Education Week, an annual celebration sponsored by the U.S. State Department. The Berkeley campus is marking it with informational sessions, tabling on Sproul Plaza and a display of student photos from abroad, on Thursday, with an announcement of contest winners.
3 campus units to become single entity
March 2, 2011:
In a reorganization to take effect Sept. 1, Berkeley Programs for Study Abroad, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and Summer Sessions will merge, with shared accounting, IT, human-resources and other common functions.
