Students and faculty involved in Berkeley Law’s technology clinic filed an amicus brief April 14 in the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York. The lawsuit in question is one of the most closely watched online copyright cases, in which media giant Viacom is suing Google-owned YouTube for $1 billion in damages.
